On behalf of the Korean Society for Bioinformatics (KSBI) and the BIOINFO 2025 Organizing Committee, we extend our heartfelt thanks for your enthusiastic participation and support in making this our largest annual event. We are especially delighted to host this year’s conference in Suwon for the first time—a vibrant city just south of Seoul, renowned as a strategic hub for business, transportation, and logistics. We hope your stay here will be both enjoyable and memorable.

We are deeply grateful to all session chairs and speakers for generously sharing their expertise and presenting cutting-edge advances across diverse areas of bioinformatics. Our sincere appreciation also goes to the BIOINFO 2025 Program Committee for their unwavering dedication to upholding the highest academic standards, which has been instrumental to the success of this conference.

It is our honor to welcome two distinguished plenary speakers: Professor Mathias Uhlén from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and Professor Insuk Lee from Yonsei University. This year’s program features an exceptional lineup of special sessions, covering topics such as Functional Genomics, Long-read Sequencing Biology, AI in Omics and Clinical Applications, Microbiome Research, Decoding the 3D Genome with AI, Single-cell Analysis, Protein Structure Prediction and Design, Genomics in Health Science, Medical Genomics, Epigenomics, AI-based Drug Discovery, RNA Bioinformatics, AI in Spatial Omics, and a variety of educational sessions. We believe BIOINFO 2025 will serve as a pivotal milestone on the path toward the era of Digital Biology.

We hope you find the sessions both intellectually stimulating and professionally enriching. We encourage you to take full advantage of the networking opportunities, engage in lively discussions, and forge lasting collaborations. Thank you once again for your support, and we wish you a productive and memorable experience at BIOINFO 2025.
